2014 Parinama Shanghai Dance Festival

For immediate release – Shanghai to host the ultimate Dance festival from October 28 to November 2, 2014.

 

July 23, 2014, Shanghai – Parinama Cultural Development Foundation continues to stretch boundaries with the announcement of the 2014 Parinama Shanghai Dance Festival – a week-long festival featuring thousands of elite Youth, Amateur, and Professional Chinese and International dance couples, as well as an international panel of respected and seasoned adjudicators from all over the world.

 

Parinama Shanghai Dance Festival is a celebration of international dance culture. A combination of competitions, performances and workshops, the festival brings in together local and international dancers, and provides a platform for artistic exchange between East and West. The 2014 Parinama Shanghai Dance Festival will include the 3rd CBDF Creative Show Dance Competition, 28th CBDF Ballroom Dancing Championship, and 2014 Parinama Shanghai Open. Master Classes and a Training Camp with renowned dance professionals will also be conducted during the festival.

 

The 3rd CBDF Creative Show Dance Competition and 28th CBDF Ballroom Dancing Championship are China Ballroom Dance Federation (CBDF) annual events and China’s two most influential national ballroom dancing competitions. This year, The 3rd CBDF Creative Show Dance Competition will be held at Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA) Theatre on October 29 while the 28th CBDF Ballroom Dancing Championship will be held at Yuan Shen Sports Center from October 30 to November 1.

 

The 2014 Parinama Shanghai Open, which includes World Dance Council (WDC) World Trophy and World Ranking Series events, is one of the World’s biggest Ballroom and Latin dance championship featuring the best international dance talent as well as the highest cash prize awards. The competition will be held at Mercedes-Benz Arena on November 1.
